Acral vascular syndrome Lennert type T cell lymphoma—a case report

Abstract Background Acral vascular syndrome clinically presents as digital ischemia with Raynaud’s phenomenon and erythromelalgia but can be rarely seen in the malignant condition. Patients may present pain, permanent blanching or cyanosis, desquamation ulceration of fingers. is associated lymphoid neoplasm smoking, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, vasculitis. Here, we describe a 79-year-old female who was diagnosed vitiligo peripheral T cell lymphoma Lennert type stage 4 anemia chronic disease acral syndrome. Case presentation A presented gangrene distal extremities pain intermittent fever for 2 months. On evaluation, she found to have generalized lymphadenopathy bone marrow involvement Conclusion lymphoma; if intervened earlier, patient saved from amputation fingers affected limb. Though it rare lymphoma, should considered there rapid progression gangrene. Early initiation chemotherapy result reduction further thus prevents functional dependence on caregivers. In our patient, other prevented even though an aggressive variant lymphoma.
